I wonder whether Chameleon will be demanding retrospective legislation to cover the situation where Cashcroft&#039;s UK company which has almost entirely been used to channel money from abroad into the Conservative Party barely escapes the law which prohibits this?

If that company has only &lt;i&gt;just&lt;/i&gt; traded might not HMG change the law to exclude so minimal a level of trading as being a sufficient condition for political donations &lt;i&gt;restrospectively?&lt;/i&gt;

As the 3 MPs accused of various frauds have not yet had their parliamentary privilege tested in the courts yet seeking changes seems precipitate, hasty indeed . . .

That is one of Chameleon&#039;s problems, you never get nowhere if you&#039;re too hasty I recall.</description>
