My attention has been drawn to Kevin Anderson’s very sensible and balanced analysis of the Gary McKinnon extradition case. It is far more measured than Mayor (and part-time Telegraph columnist) Boris Johnson’s rant. I wonder who earns the most from his journalism – the one who provides analysis or the one who rants with cavalier regard for fact?

Yes I agree with you about Kevin Anderson’s article.
I am amazed how much publicity is being received by the Free Gary campaign. I wouldn’t be surprised if, with the Daily Mail involvement, it is all being funded by someone trying to use it as the start of the general election campaign.
For what it’s worth I think he must go to the USA and be tried. It’s not like the USA is a Third World country – it’s not Zimbabwe or Thailand is it?!
I hope justice is done and is seen to be done.
I have Aspergers and I am in support of Gary McKinnon being extradited to the United States. There is a lesser known story out there of another hacker with aspergers being sentenced for hacking the US government. It shows how the US Judicial System will weigh in on Aspergers.
